1. What is Photojournalism?

1.1. This interest area educates students in the history, theory and skills of photojournalism–including still images, moving images and audio. Photojournalism at the Missouri School of Journalism teaches students how to create integrated and compelling multimedia projects.

1.2. Students at the Missouri School of Journalism can either pursue a major in Photojournalism or Convergence Photojournalism, depending on their career goals and passions.

2. What is it like to be a Photojournalism student?

2.1. Photojournalism students either major in Photojournalism or Convergence Photojournalism.

2.1.1. Photojournalism focuses on teaching students the power of image. The major embraces new technologies in presentation and helps prepare students for careers as photojournalism.
