1.1. Learn different formats for different writing

1.1.1. The C.R.A.P principals definitely link to formats of writing. The principals give you a specific format to follow and how to do it.

1.1.1.1. Layouts are important for writing,web-pages and power-points. This will make or break the presentation and the C.R.A.P principals allow you to understand and comprehend the information being presented.

1.2. Learning about different writing conventions and structures

1.3. Understanding ethical and unethical use

1.3.1. In Virtual Cultures, Flew talks about chat rooms as well as internet as a whole. I feel this piece of writing connects to this specific outcome or goal because people use the internet to hide or make people think they are something they are not. I feel this relates because some people that use internet use it in unethical ways.

1.4. Goal By the end of this course I would like to be able to determine ethical writing/facts to unethical facts before putting them into my work

1.4.1. This reading has helped me to relaize what types of internet site are real and or fake or possible harmful. I feel this directly relates to ethical and unethical use of technology.

1.5. I feel that information about copyrights, fair use and creative commons fits best with knowledge of conventions.

1.5.1. For example it is important to know your information. It is important to understand what you need and what you don't. It is also important to know what to ask and that is why I bookmarked a site we can all use to find correct information

2. Processes

2.1. Know that text needs many drafts before it is sucessful

2.1.1. This article has helped me to see that revision on writin is very important especially when using the internet. This is important because when putting something on the internet it needs to be perfect because so many others can see it and critisize it for being incorrect.

2.3.1. Flew's reading showed me that collaboration can sometime be positive. I learned a lot of information about this topic because Flew talked about several different people's research and fact and incorporated them into his own writing. This was very useful and allowed me to see several aspects of this topic.

2.4.1. Flew's article shows that technology is used to manage many different types of data on the internet. This could be a positive or negative aspect of technology which is stated in Flew's article.

2.5. Goal By the end of this course I would like to accept that my work will not be perfect after one draft

2.8.1. C.R.A.P meaning Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and proximity

2.8.2. These are important when designing a webpage because if the page is to flashy or done incorrectly it will lure the reader to details of the page rather then to the actual information being presented.

2.8.3. These 4 basic steps will essentially give you the most effective layout.

2.8.4. These steps are important and can be used for power-point presentations as well as web-page designing.

3.1. Focus on defined purpose

3.1.1. Flew did pick a specific topic when writing this article. However I feel that he had many sub topics and kept breaking off which was a bit confusing. I hope I will be able to do this but possibly be able to tie each sub topic into the main topic a bit better.

3.8.1. This is a very important goal. This article will help when writing other pieces. It is important to know your audience and be able to explain information in a way that each person reading can understand.

3.9.1. The information on copyright, fair use and creative commons also connects with use of technology.

3.9.1.1. This is so because copyright explains what is right and wrong which is ethical use of technology

3.10. Goal By the end of this course I would like to have a better understanding of how to focus a specific tone to a specific audience.

4. Critical thinking, reading and writing

4.1. Use writing and reading to learn how to communicate

4.1.1. This to me explains the entire article. Flew explains that the internet is use in order to communicate and more and more people are discovering how to use different applications with in internet for example chat rooms. This can be a good form of communication but it is potentially dangerous because you never really know who you are talking to. This is why the internet is beneficial but also dangerous.

4.1.2. C.R.A.P principals allow communication with presenters as well as readers which is an important part of communication.

4.2. Blending new ideas and old ideas

4.3. Goal By the end of this course I would like to be able to explore more ideas and be able to integrate them into my work

4.3.1. Flew definitely used this aspect when writing this article. He incorporated different views all throughout this piece. This was helpful and explained different aspects and views on internet itself.
