1. Become Aware

1.1. In the people around us

1.1.1. The people who surround us often influence our judgment.

1.2. In our own mind

1.2.1. We don't even realize we judge others until its brought to our attention

1.3. The World as a whole

1.3.1. The world or society tells us that people should look a certain way. This encourages us to look down upon others who are different.

2. Become Suspicious

2.1. We have to know all judgments as they come, not before its too late. "it takes but one tiny exception to topple a whole edifice of ideas."

3. Become Chary

3.1. Heilbroner included this quote from Scott F. Fitzgerald, “Begin with an individual, and before you know it you have created a type; begin with a type, and you find you have created--nothing.” I believe he included this quote because it says all that needs to be said.

4. What I've learned

4.1. To be honest, I learned that I judge people even though I've been trying not to and I have to say it's because of the people I'm around. I added the "Become Active" because I think it's one thing to say you're not going to judge but a whole other thing to actually not judge other people.
