1. Possible solution to fix the issue at hand

1.1. Create a contraption to keep both the liquid lipstick and lipliner together

1.1.1. Pros:

1.1.1.1. Keeps a lip liner and liquid lipstick together

1.1.1.2. Is helpful regarding storing the liquid lipstick and lip liner together at home or when travelling

1.1.1.3. Snaps onto the lip liner and liquid lipstick perfectly

1.1.2. Cons:

1.1.2.1. The contraption will not be able to fit around all lipliners and liquid lipsticks out there on the market

1.1.2.2. May be too bulky to store in a make-up bag, make-up kit or shelf at a store/make-up counter.

1.1.3. Has this been done before?

1.1.3.1. Although this was not present in my searches online and in store to find a separate contraption I did find brands that had duel ended lipsticks and lipliners in one long product that some customers expressed in reviews that they found it hard to store or unsightly when the lipliner comes to a end in a small nub.

1.2. Offering the lip liner and liquid lipstick in apart of a set

1.2.2. Cons:

1.2.2.1. The issue of losing a lipliner is not resolved.

1.2.3.1. Upron research, it was found that usually around holiday collections and gift sets that brands offer for the liquid lipstick and lip liner together for customers to buy themselves or for another.

1.3. Attaching the lipliner to the liquid lipstick using a magnetic mechanism found on the exterior of the liquid lip stick and lipliner together

1.3.1. Pros:

1.3.1.1. Keeps the lip liner and liquid lipstick together

1.3.1.2. Easy to store in professional and personal kits

1.3.1.3. Liquid lipstick and lipliner can be bought separately if one product is used up first than the other

1.3.2.1. Other items sticking to the packaging due to its magnetic exterior

1.3.3.1. Conducting secondary research, on the market this has not have been done before. With the pros weighing greatly over the cons, this idea can be developed upon further and become an innovation.

1.4. Develop a matching lip liner to go with the lipstick at the beginning of the initial launch

1.4.1. Pros:

1.4.1.1. The inital issue of not finding a lip liner to go with a lipstick is resolved if launched at the same time and displayed within the same area so the customer is not looking around the store with various swatches on their skin.

1.4.1.2. Advertising the two together online as a pack or to buy separately will resolve the issue of the disappointment of a lipliner arriving and not matching the lipstick for it.

1.4.1.3. Benefits workers on make-up counters and stores searching around for a lipliner for the client and taking too long finding the perfect shade and patience of the client.

1.4.2. Cons:

1.4.2.1. The issue of losing a lipliner is not resolved.

1.4.2.2. If the lipliner is sold out, the consumer has no choice to either purchase the lipstick without the lipliner, not purchasing anything at all or going to another retailer to take their business elsewhere.

1.4.3.1. With research by going on to various websites such as: NYX professional Make-up, Urban decay, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, MAC Cosmetics ect, these brands sell matching lip liners to their liquid lipsticks to buy separately.

1.4.3.2. NYX Professional Make-up Birmingham Boutique have a display in store with various of their liquid lipsticks paired already at an area of the store called the "Lip Bar"

2. Current problems with Lipliners

2.1. Not finding the perfect lip liner to go with a liquid lipstick

2.1.1. getting a lipliner that doesnt match the lipstick that is wrong in tone or hue

2.1.2. Spending too much time going round a store looking for the perfect shade

2.1.3. Purchasing a lipliner online and having it arrive to be completely different from the colour you thought it would be

2.1.4. going without a lipliner due to previous problems mentioned and thus taking the risk of the lipstick bleeding above your natural lip line.

2.2. Losing a lipliner too easily

2.2.1. Spending too much time looking around for a lipliner when you don't have much time at all

2.2.2. Having to purchase another lip liner and starting the whole process of finding the perfect lip liner once more.

2.2.3. Having to use a colour that wasnt intended for the lipstick just to avoid the lipstick to bleed

2.2.4. Having to look through an entire kit of make-up just to find the lip liner.

3. Possible solution to fix the issue at hand
