1. Confession to the crime

1.1. They have been taken into jail and confessed to a crime that has not had a detrimental effect on other individuals.

1.1.1. No individual or community has been effected, therefore the crime is minor.

1.1.1.1. The perpetrator has confessed to the minor crime and therefore are showing regret and a possible change that is occurring. A suitable sentence in jail would be more effective.

1.1.1.1.1. Corporal Punishment is not acceptable

2. Evidence clearly shows guilt

2.1. Impacted or effected an individual or a community

2.1.1. Perpetrators are put on death row for several years awaiting for their death.

2.1.1.1. The perpetrator is suffering for several years however has shown no change.

2.1.1.1.1. He is clearly a threat to the community

2.1.1.2. The perpetrator confesses and shows change such as Stanley Williams

2.1.1.2.1. Showing a change and no longer dangerous to the commuity

2.2. No impact on another individual or community

2.2.1. They have not confessed to the crime however the crime has not effected other individuals therefore it is a minor crime

2.2.1.1. Jail sentence is more appropriate

2.2.2. They have confessed and are showing regret and attempting to change

2.2.2.1. Jail sentence should be put in place but should be shorter than the situation above.

3. Evidence is sound

3.1. 1 to many individuals have been impacted however the evidence does is not certain

3.1.1. Corporate punishment regardless is not acceptable. No life should be ended in this case because innocence is possibly

3.1.1.1. Jail Sentence

3.2. No other individuals were effected

3.2.1. Let off with community service or short sentence.
