1. Great Britain's allies in WWII: - The US - both joined the Atlantic Charter (August 14, 1941), provided financial and military support(Lend Lease - 30 Billion$) to Britain, and together founded the United Nations, were two dominant powers. Disagreement: President F. Roosevelt was not supportive of the imperialistic ambitions of GB and encouraged letting the countries under the British Empire the right to self-determinate, but eventually held back from this point of view, as the British colonies (like India) were a significant source of military power.
