1. Stick to two clear fonts max. Make sure they compliment eachother and are appropriate for the genre, watch the sizing of your fonts carefully.
2. Stick to three colours as a max. Make sure that they go together well, fit the genre correctly and suit the colours in the photos.
3. Make sure you use clear photos that are in clear focus. Make sure they are in appropriate shot size for the size of your pane, and make sure that they are generically appropriate
4. Follow the rule of thirds for composition.
5. Remember to include barcode, date, copyright information, title of the album, artist name, record company logo, website, and artist website.
