Coefficient- An unknown quantity in an algebraic term. Variable- Any factor, trait, or condition that can exist in any different term. Slope- gradient of a line is a number that describes both the direction and the steepness of the line. Y-Intercept- Where y is plotted. Qualitative- An equation in word form. Rectangular Prism- A 3D image of a rectangle. Cylinder- 2 flat bases and a circular body. Cone- A shape with a circle appearance. Sphere- A 3D image of a circle. Pyramid- A 3D image of a triangle. Congruent- Same size and shape. Similar- They are the same shape but different sizes. Dilation Rotation- Rotating an object 90 Degrees or more. Reflection- Another image of the same object but in a different spot. Translation- When you slide the object. Volume- The amount of space an object takes up. Surface Area- All the space the object will take up. Inductive Reasoning- When the equation is found true or almost true. Pythagorean Theorem- When a side is missing and you have to figure out what the side is.
