education: Art Center College of Design graduation 1990

Started as transportation designer for Ford in Detroit after two years of school.

After finding his design sense was a bit too extreme for the automotive industry, he went back and got his BFA in illustration. After Graduation he got into illustration, concept design, and matte painting. Mullins was an early adoption of digital illustration. Upon realizing freedom from geographical constraints he moved to Hawaii where he lives today.
