Elder Realms by Mind Map: Elder Realms

1. Entry

1.1. Via the nexus like other realms

1.2. Using incantations like with WC/void

2. Realm treasure chests

2.1. Make them mimics (sometimes!) that attack so that rogues dont steal everything

2.2. Chests could contain stat pots (no life/mana), HP/MP consumables (including dungeon consumables) and rarely a UT

2.3. Chests can be found in the realm's structures

2.4. Probably make them pinatas like the event chests instead of public bags

3. Lore

3.1. Elder realms are realms where oryx has not been defeated and his influence has been drastically increased

3.2. Important IMO: The game has so much existing lore, elder realms could be a good way to re-use that lore to turn it into actual game mechanics

4. Events

5. Difficulty

5.1. Each biome will be similar in difficulty, with different challenges due to their terrain/enemies. Elder godlands should feature the toughest enemies, although this is offset by the lack of harsh terrain

5.2. Difficulty should be comparable to Nest/LH, most likely no HP scaling on regular mobs considering the realm is big and people may split up into the different biomes
