2.5.5. 5. Monitoring and evaluation The “Monitoring and evaluation system” of the project is meant as a system that, by collecting valid and reliable data for readings, analyses and comparisons, allows an exhaustive evaluation of the global validity of the project within the contexts in which it develops. The overall objective of the monitoring and evaluation system is to evaluate the efficacy and efficiency of the activities, by monitoring constantly the project progress and consistency and by carrying out an in itinere and ex-post evaluation of its quality, relevance and impact. The Monitoring and evaluation system will support the project partners and actors by providing useful information about the following activities: •to verify the progressive and actual execution of the planned project activities by analysing the results achieved; •to identify the possible critical aspects and/or malfunctions in order to apply possible solutions which can improve the quality of the project; •to analyze the performance of the partnership as regards the achievement of the project objectives; •to evaluate the project quality and its impact on direct and indirect beneficiaries - to grasp and analyze as much as possible the unexpected elements emerged on the process and product level. The monitoring of the project progress will allow to understand the state of execution of the planned activities, to guarantee their standard quality and to take possible corrective actions if necessary. The monitoring system that will be active for the whole duration of the project, will provide to the Steering Committee the following products: start-up report, interim report closing final report. The evaluation of the project quality is essential for an effective project management, since it allows to verify the results of the action carried out (including the achievement or not of the fixed objectives) and to develop effective orientations for possible future actions.

2.5.6. 6. Follow - up This activity is crucial in order to fully understand the expected impact of the project. Particularly the Partneship will make a meeting at the end of the 2nd meeting in order to evaluate the project activities and see the possibile suggestion in order to continue the activities at the end of the project. A skype conference will be held at the end of the project in order to set up the final report to be sent to the national agency. The final report of the plenary session could be the first milestone for a further participation in other programs based on these themes (such as Lifelong Learning), moreover the same young people could launch an authomous youth project (e.g Youth Exchange or another national/international activity) for the spread of these themes in the local territory.
