1. ENGAGE, ENHANCE EXTEND

1.1. Students will grasp concepts through modern technology, and personal interest. The issue they are faced with is occurring right now!

1.2. Students are given multiple educational platforms to use, and have the ability to use them going forward to help them in school.

1.3. Students can improve the quality of life and get involved outside of school. Resources are given in the conclusion page.

2. Interactive websites

2.1. Students are given an interactive lesson within the process of the WebQuest given them a more hands on experience with getting a well rounded education of climate change. Which benefits their understanding of the importance of getting involved.

3. Inform

3.1. Web articles, videos and other outlets are added for other resources to accommodate individual students

3.1.1. Other information is given through outside resources to acknowledge that students can use other outlets to inform them of information

4. Digital Citizenship

4.1. Students will understand how to effectively use the internet to improve education responsibly.

4.1.1. Use the web for other classes, benefit their understanding for subject matter by reaching out.

5. BIG6

5.1. Identify the information needed: Week 1 & 2

5.1.1. Research and analysis of data from various forms of technology

5.2. Determine and select the best sources for environment and the elements within. Cite the sources!

5.2.1. In the shared Google Doc share information that you have researched and determine if the source is reliable and efficient for your environment and school research.

5.3. Find and search for information within sources

5.3.1. Locate the proper information needed for environment, Find and determine meaningful data.

5.4. Use the information. Engage in videos, pictures and interaction. Include what is relevant.

5.4.1. Gather information and apply it to your research following with your environment itself.

5.5. Organize and present information

5.5.1. Title research accordingly and apply information to visual representation of environment backed by citations.

5.5.1.1. Generate a video representation explaining in depth about what is learned in an organized manner.

5.6. Evaluate project and process

5.6.1. Go through process and determine completion based on the rubric provided.

6. Engaging the community

6.1. Students improve collaboration and interaction with new individuals

7.1. Students work in groups for a common goal

8.1.1. WebQuest is for 6-8th grade science students, at this age they are able to be given instruction and leeway and given the opportunity to use their creativity

8.1.1.1. Giving students opportunity to design and alter their own product generates meaningful learning

8.1.1.1.1. Students will want to engage in their own project designs as they created it from prior information and factual evidence, now they can use this information to impact the environment and community.
