2.1. Since they came in large numbers, they took the gold which was meant to be ours

2.2. We call them the 'Ching Chong Chinaman' because they didn't bring their family to Australia

2.3. We burn down their tents as a punishment

3. The Chinese smell strange.

3.1. They smoke opium which has an offensive smell.

3.2. The food they eat smells odd.

4. The Chinese look different

4.1. They wear baggy pants and patched clothes

4.2. They have long pony tails up to their waists

5. The Chinese have untidy tents

6. Their language is so weird that we joke abut it each time we hear it.

7. Equipment for mining for gold

8. They don't believe in our religion

8.1. Since the Chinese don't believe in our religion, we know they are pagan and odd.

9. The Chinese mine differently

9.1. They use round shafts instead of square shafts

9.2. They carry long bamboo sticks on their shoulders with buckets on each end to carry their tools

9.3. The mining methods they use waste lots of water.Water is very scarce on the goldfields and we must use it sparingly.

10. They gave us a disease outbreak which came ONLY from China

10.1. By giving us new diseases, we are frequently becoming ill and unable to mine for gold.

11. They walk like geese overland, one behind the other in a long line.
