An old proverb says, “Good tempered leaders invigorate lives: they\'re like spring rain and sunshine” A bearing person is an effective leader because he/she gives a visual example. Also followers respect the person because of his/her control of him/herself. A bearing leader knows well about him/her. They handle themselves and know their abilities and flaws well.

I need to work on this trait because I get mad or annoyed very easily. A leader needs to have a good temper. However I do not have total control of my emotions. Also a leader needs to be self-confident. This is another part of bearing that I do not have. I have many doubts of myself, which is a big flaw. For instance, I have a lot of trouble doing reflections or writing about myself such as this assignment because I lack knowledge about myself. This is because I do not know myself very well. Also I get annoyed when people do not listen. For example, when the music teacher was absent and there was substitute, Miguel, Carlos, and I have led the band for the day. When others weren’t listening and doing other things, we were annoyed. However the first one to lose the temper was me. Through this my lack of control was reassured as a flaw.
