The Lost Child

1. Child after his hunt reached a village. their he saw a sweetmeat seller, flower seller, balloon seller, snake charmer and a roundabout with many people shrieking and laughing on it. he wanted it all but knew the refusal he will face but at last he made a bold request f going on the roundabout. as he requested he could hear no reply.
2. When he heard no reply he turned to look at his parents but they were not there. He looked all the directions but still no sign of his parents. Suddenly a full, deep cry rose within his dry throat. He ran from where he stood crying in fear. He kept calling his mother and father but there was no sign of them. His yellow turban untied and clothes became muddy. He ran again this time towards the shrine filled with violent crowd. He kept sobbing for his parents but no sign of them. Then a man heard his sob and tried to soothe him but he kept crying.
3. The man took him to the balloon seller, snake charmer, flower seller and sweetmeat seller to distract him but he kept sobbing for his parents. wanting to see them again he kept sobbing.
4. It was festival of spring. The fair was filled with many people doing different things. Some riding horses, some walking, some being carried in bamboo and bullock carts.
5. Amongst the whole crowd there was a little boy brimming over with life and laughter. He was fascinated by the toys in the shops and lagged behind his parents kept calling him and he walked towards his parents with his obedient legs but eyes still stuck on the toys but he knew the old, cold stare of refusal. Finally he pleaded his parents for a toy but his father looked at him red-eyed. His mother melted by the free spirit of the day was tender, giving him her finger she showed him a mustard-field. Soon the boy was lost in his surroundings. He was intrigued by the little insects, worms flower petals that he forgot about his parents.
