1.1. SkyView View celestial bodies within the area of the sky you are located. Also man made satellites, including the ISS.

1.2. Light Pollution Map (LPM) A map providing where dark skies are located for the best stargazing experience.

2. Research Resources

2.1. iCell App Interactive virtual look at cells. Animal, plant, and bacteria cells have parts that students can click on and learn what their functions are within that cell.

2.2. Periodic Table by the Royal Society of Chemistry Interactive periodic table, includes all the standard information of atomic number and mass for each element. However one of the neat aspects of the app is the “Visual Elements Image” that shows items made with the element. When an element is clicked on it shows a list of more data and videos regarding the element.

2.3. Science News Daily: Science Articles and News App Students will have access to thousands of news articles, a science dictionary and science facts. Search for articles or have preselected news categories pushed to your phone.

2.4. Science Dictionary by Farlex Science Dictionary that provides a one stop resource for encyclopedia resources, pictures, pronunciation of terms, and unlimited bookmarks.

3. Citizen Science

3.1. Seek by iNaturalist Identify insects, animals, and plants. This is a citizen science app that will also tell you what genus and species the item you are looking at are organized under.

3.2. Globe Observer by NASA Citizen Science app that helps NASA satellites identify more detail. This includes cloud coverage, land, and trees.

3.3. eBird by the Cornell Ornithology Lab Take pictures of local birds in your area, identify them with the app, and share the information with the Cornell Ornithology Lab.

4. Simulation

4.1. Terra Genesis - Space Settlers Establish life on a dead planet using science based simulators. It is a game that allows you to choose ways to establish a biosphere to support life. Uses data from NASA to create the simulations.

4.2. Life on Earth - Idle Evolutions Game Experience an evolution educational game and work your way through different eras.

4.3. Physics Lab AR Create circuits and see how it would work in the real world.
