1. In formative assessment, the competencies are the focus.
2. How is the evaluation?
2.1. It's crucial to following steps:
2.1.1. Understand all about the competency.
2.1.2. Check the criteria.
2.1.3. Create meaningful situations.
2.1.4. Select the correct assessment tools.
2.1.5. Advise how they will be evaluated.
3. What is it evaluated?
3.1. Competencies can be considered reached if students accomplish the standards.
4. How is it rated?
4.1. The way of rating can be diferent according the institution
4.2. There are some examples:
4.2.1. LMS - LS - LB - LI
4.2.2. AD - A - B - C
4.3. The calification considered all the worksheets, projects, drills, etc that the teacher used during all the process.
5. What is this approach about?
5.1. The formative approach value the performance.
5.2. Evaluation is a process system in which relevant information about the level of development is collected and valued of the competencies in each student,
5.3. In order to contribute in a timely manner to improve their learning
5.4. Assess student performance in solving situations or problems
5.5. Identify the current level students are at
5.6. Create situations where the student can develop their skills and acquiere the target language.
6. What am I evaluating for?
6.1. At student level
6.1.1. Accomplish and foster the autonomy in students. Be supportive to develop self-confidence to reach the objectives.
6.2. At teacher level
6.2.1. Be conscious about the existance of different types, level and rhythm of learning.
6.2.2. Give constant feedback and assist any doubt.
