A) In this integrative session, students will be introduced to the multidisciplinary nature of medicine using cervical cancer as an example.

B) The session presented by the Population Medicine theme will cover public health concepts such as risk factors, screening, and prevention.

C) The session will cover the epidemiological, virological, and immunological aspects of cervical cancer, and screening and immunization strategies for its prevention.

• After this session students should be able to:

1- Describe the epidemiology of cervical cancer locally and globally

2- Describe the risk factors for cervical cancer

3- Describe the broad approach to prevention of cervical cancer

4- Give examples of specific preventative strategies used locally and globally
