We’ve all heard stories of people who’ve experienced seemingly miraculous recoveries from illness, but can the same thing happen for our world? According to pioneering biologist Bruce H. Lipton, it’s not only possible, it’s already occurring.

In collaboration with political philosopher Steve Bhaerman, Dr. Lipton

'We zijn geen afzonderlijke eenheden, we zijn een reusachtig samenwerkend

superorganisme', stelt hij.

De erkenning dat ieder mens een 'cel' is in hetzelfde lichaam, zal een revolutie

ontketenen, betoogt Lipton. 'We leren dan dat het zelfdestructief is om elkaar

of onze omgeving kapot te maken en te terroriseren. Er is zelfs een naam voor:

wanneer de cellen in ons lichaam elkaar gaan bestrijden, dan noemen we dat

een auto-immuunziekte.'

Toch ziet Lipton de toekomst optimistisch tegemoet. 'Vroeger was ik een

pessimist' vertelt hij. 'Toen ik de essentie van evolutie begon te begrijpen en

inzag hoe alles door vorming van gemeenschappen wordt gestuurd, zag ik in

dat het internet dat nu juist doet: het zorgt ervoor dat alle cellen met elkaar

kunnen communiceren. We zien de aanzet van een coaltie van mensen over

de hele wereld die inzien dat we een geheel zijn.

Dat is het einddoel van evolutie.'

Lipton zwijgt even voordat hij een vraag stelt. Stel dat je je onderbewustzijn zo

programmeert dat het dezelfde verlangens uit het bewustzijn bevat die de

ervaring van de huwelijksreis schiepen? 'Op dat moment zouden we allemaal

voortdurend een hemel op aarde beleven.'
