1.5. Dangerous game is a short story of a man who gets stranded on a berzerk billionaires island where he must survive against the billionaire who just so happens to be a serial killer trophy hunter.

1.6. Why I chose this story and author

1.6.1. I chose the most dangerous game because sophomor year in high school we had read the story and watched the 1960's(?) portrayal of the story. I remember being very anti book and reading for assignments, but it was the first story in my english class that I found to enjoy. The suspense of Rainsford fighting for his life against Zaroff and his dogs, even though you suspect him to win the challenge because of his hunting background and how most stories end with the good guy winning

3.1.1. Born in 1916 in Llandaff, Cardiff, UK. Wing commander in the royal air force in WW2. Child of Norwegian immigrants. "The times" top 20 best author of all time. Prominently wrote children's books, but also adult fictions as well.

3.4.1. mastermind behind Charlie and the chocolate factory, matilda, the BFG, and so many others.

3.5. Why i chose this story and author

3.5.1. Loved Roald Dahl books growing up and i saw that he had some short stories he had written and luckily enough he was from a different time period and culture as Richard Connell. I sorted through his short stories and the teasers to them and this one seemed the most enjoyable. Very Mysterious and dark.
