1. Why we need technology

1.1. To continue to improve our quality of life

1.2. Further development

1.2.1. To keep pace with the ever changing environment around us

1.3. "countless technological innovations have shaped daily life and will continue to influence it in the future" (Kammerzelt, 2022)

1.4. Technology is the solution to the constant flow of new problems in the world

2. What I thought before

2.1. Something made by humans

2.1.1. Electronics

2.1.1.1. Cell phone

2.1.1.2. Computer

2.1.1.3. Camera

2.1.1.4. Tablet

2.1.1.5. Gaming console

2.1.2. Physical objects

2.1.2.1. Chair

2.1.2.2. Desk

2.1.2.3. Hammer

2.1.2.4. Rubics Cube

3. Beginning to define technology

3.1. “Technology is anything that wasn’t around when you were born” (Greelish, 2013)

4. What I have learned

4.1. "Technology is anything useful invented by a mind" (Kevin, 2010)

4.1.1. Ted Talk

4.1.2. "A method for generating better ideas" (Kevin, 2010)

4.1.2.1. Bad technology leads to finding new solutions, therefore creating more technology.

4.2. "Technology represents the combination of human understanding of natural laws and phenomena accumulated since ancient times to make things that fulfil our needs and desires or that perform certain functions" (Li-Hua, 2007)

4.3. In the video What is Technology (2019) it states that "Technologies are things created by humans that can make our lives easier or solve problems"

4.4. Prof. Dr. Aytekin ISMAN (2012) says that "Human’s use of technology involves not only machines (e.g., computer hardware) and instruments, but also includes structured relations with other humans, machines, and the environment."

4.5. According to the Definitions of Technology, Engineering, and Applications of Science "Technology is any modification of the natural world made to fulfill human needs or desires" (Read, 2012)

5. What I think now

5.1. Much more than physical objects like electronics

5.1.1. The process used to create something

5.2. After going through the course content I have found that technology is not something that is easily described. There are many different views on the subject. I now think of technolgy as processes, creations, objects and more. I believe that technology is essential in our everyday lives and for our continuity in the future.
