1. Evolution of Perception after Module

1.1. Technology is a complex thing that's tough to explain. It includes everything created by human mind to make life easier, whether it's something from a hundred years ago or something latest, like AI.

1.1.1. Essentially, everything we make and how we go about making it is part of technology. It's not just about gadgets; it's also about the whole process of thinking up, creating, and using stuff. Even the way we discover natural things can be seen as a kind of technology. So, technology is both the journey of coming up with ideas and making things happen, and the actual things we end up with—like tools, systems, and innovations—that shape our world. It's always changing and reflects our constant drive to create and improve.

1.2. Both product and process of innovation

1.2.1. The American National Research Council (NRC) defined technology simply as "including ‘all types of human–made systems and processes’."(Quinn, 2012).

1.2.2. Technology as product

1.2.2.1. Innovations result in products like smartphones, gadgets, and even simpler objects like chair and table

1.2.3. Technology as Process

1.2.3.1. Innovation involves ongoing research and development

1.2.3.2. lead to continuous refinement and improvement

1.3. multifaceted concept

1.3.1. Thomas P. Hughes, American historian of Technology said: "Technology is messy and complex." (Thierer, 2021)

1.3.1.1. Technology cannot be reduced to one concept

1.3.1.1.1. It includes

1.3.1.2. Adam Thierer wrote that he is struck by how authors "bother defining what they mean by technology.”(Thierer, 2021)

4.1. Things invented in recent times

4.1.1. (American Cars of 1958 : November 16--Homo Tinkerus) Wheel was first invented by early humans, but like me there are several people who would not believe the simple invention of wheel in early times to be technology

4.2. Gadget - Centric Vision

4.2.1. Internet and online activities

4.2.2. Everyday Electronic Devices

4.2.2.2. Extra functions added to older devices

4.2.2.2.1. For example, I would believe, a normal watch is not technology but a smart watch is. (Watches, 2019)

4.3. Transportation

4.3.1. (Dejanj, n.d.) Efficient and faster means of travel

5. Why do we neeed technology?

5.1. Automates tasks increasing efficiency.

5.2. Facilitates global connectivity

5.3. Promotes social interaction and information sharing.

5.4. Creates industries, generates employment

5.5. Contributes to better healthcare

5.6. Aids in efficient use of resources

5.7. kevin Kally talks about technology in this video and explains the importance of technology for our survival. (TED, 2010)

5.7.1. He says, "If we study hunter gatherer tribes, we find a very curious thing about this world without technology, there are no fossils that more than 40 years olde, and the average age of these tribes was 20 - 30 years"(TED, 2010).

5.7.1.1. Kevin refers to it as minimal technolgy at one point, he says"they had minimal technology, but they had some technology"(TED, 2010). This, indeed, makes sense because their survival for 20 - 30 years too was only possible because they had learned how to gather food, and defenses against animals.
