1.2. A main crime committed by Gangs are drugs and most of them are part of a drug business.

1.3. The lower class are much more exposed to crimes than the middle and upper class.

3.1. In prison, Gloria went to visit her son pedro with Goldstein. She then told Pedro that Goldstein was her "Filha branca" (white daughter)

3.2. Pedro was confused because he wondered how his mother could give birth to somebody so white.

3.2.1. The lower class had to learn how to survive especially when things got rough.

3.2.1.1. Favelas are home to the lower classes, which are attained by criminals, but also domestic workers that are employed by members of the upper class.
