1. What is the Armor of God?

1.1. God's armor brings victory because it is far more than a protective covering. It is the very life of Jesus Christ Himself.

1.1.1. [P]ut on the armor of light," wrote Paul in his letter to the Romans, "...clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 13:12-14)

1.1.2. "I am the vine; you are the branches," said Jesus. "If a man abides in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

1.2. What happens when I put it on?

1.2.1. When you do, He becomes your hiding place, and shelter in the storm--just as He was to David. Hidden in Him, you can count on His victory, for He not only covers you as a shield, He also fills you with His life.

1.3. What are the pieces of the armor of God?

1.3.4.2. Thank you for the peace you give me when I trust and follow you. Show me how to help others find that peace.

1.3.4.4. Recognize and Resist

1.3.4.4.1. Peace through occult practices and union with a cosmic force or nature spirits.

1.3.5.1. The Righteousness of Jesus in you

1.3.5.2. Thank you for showing me the truth about myself--that on my own I could never be good enough to live in your presence. Thank you for taking my sins to the cross and offering me your righteous life. Lord, show me any sin that I need to confess right now, so that nothing will hinder me from being filled to overflowing with your Spirit. [Take time for confession] Thank you for forgiving me and for filling me with your righteous life.

1.3.5.3. Know and Affirm

1.3.5.3.1. Jesus Christ and His blood, which cleanses us from sin. The cross which frees us from bondage to selfish nature

1.3.5.4.1. The natural goodness, connectedness, and sacredness of all life.

Thank you for reminding me that You are the only God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the King of the universe, my Father who loves me, and my Shepherd who leads me. You are my wisdom, my counselor, my hope, and my strength. You are everything I need each day.

1.3.6.3.1. His sovereignty, love, wisdom, and holiness. (Deut. 4:39; Ps. 18:1-3)

3.1. Principles

3.1.1. It takes a dream to wake up your faith, but it takes faith to make your dream come true.

3.1.2. Your dream succeeds when you understand it is God's gift to you. If you can do ti with the ability that you have, it is probably not God's dream.

3.1.3. Dreams involve you and blss you, but they will ultimately affect other people in a most positive and humbling way. Did you know that the dream that God has given you has the ability to touch humanity in ways you have not imagined?

3.1.4. The giver of dreams wants you to flourish; He wants you to prosper -- that is not a question.

3.2. Introspection

3.2.1. Take a few moments and write your impressions about the point below. This is an important step in clarifying and realizing your dreams. What does the statement below mean to you with regard to your own dreams: "It takes a dream to wake up your faith, but it takes faith to make your dream come true

3.2.2. What are some areas where your vision has been boxed in?

3.2.3. Which of your dreams might be simply "ideas and wishes"? (There is nothing wrong with them; you simply don't want to confuse them with dreaming by design.) Write these down for consideration.

3.2.4. Why can you believe that your dreams are bigger than you?
