1. Important Dates
1.1. May 16, 1770: Married to Dauphin Louis-August at the age of 14.
1.2. June 11, 1775: Becomes Queen of France.
1.3. December 19, 1778: First daughter, Marie-Therese Charlotte is born.
1.4. October 22, 1781: First son, Louis Joseph Xavier Francois is born.
1.5. July 10, 1789: French Revolution begins.
2. Death
2.1. On October 16, 1793, Marie Antoinette was beheaded at age 38.
2.2. She was killed six months after her husband, King Louis XV.
2.3. Her death was considered a victory by the Revolutionaries, and they dumped her body in an unmarked grave.
3. Childhood
3.1. Marie Antoinette was born on November 2, 1755 in Vienna, Austria.
3.2. She had 14 brothers and sisters, and was the second to last sibling.
3.3. Her mother was the Empress of Austria, Maria Teresa. Her father was Holy Roman Emperor, Francis I.
4. Early Conflict
4.1. Marie was very interested in the arts, fashion, and dancing, but was often simply paraded around by her husband in court.
4.2. Her husband, King Louis XV, was usually busy hunting and did not spend very much time with her at all.
4.3. Eventually, Marie Antoinette became bored with her position as queen, and was considered by many to be sarcastic and rude by her peers
