In this graphic organizer, I focussed on hatred as an abstract concept, as opposed to prejudice, which is more specific. As I continued developing the web , I was forced to think deeply about hatred both objectively and subjectively. At the same time, I grappled with the detailed nature of the organizer because I thought that there was too much information for students. At the same time, I feared that lack of information would be tantamount to misinformation. I was also concerned that younger students would not be able to understand this map and would most likely need a more concise map that they could use to brainstorm about hatred and/or their experiences with hatred in its various forms.
