1.1. Real Potency or Subjective Potencies

1.1.1. Active Potency or Power

1.1.2. Passive Potency or Potentiality (in the strict sense)

1.1.2.1. "Considered in relation to the thing that has it"

1.1.2.1.1. "Considered in relation to the essence of a thing"

1.1.2.1.2. "Considered in relation to the existence of a thing"

1.1.2.2. "Considered in relation to the agent which brings about an effect in the thing that has it."

1.2. Pure/Logical Possibility or Objective Potencies

2.1. Pure Actuality or Pure Active Potency/Power or Actus Purus (God/Uncreated Active Potency)

2.1.1. Absolutely Pure Act: God

2.1.2. Relatively Pure Act: Form/Angels (Still in potency relative to its existence)

2.2. Mixed Actuality (Created Active Potency)

2.2.1. Operative Act: concerns a thing's operations or activities

2.2.2. Entitative Act: Concerns what a thing is statically speaking

2.2.2.1. Essential Act: a thing's essence or nature- what it is (sometimes called "formal act")

2.2.2.1.1. Substantial Form: that which makes a thing the kind of substance it is (Sometimes called "first act")

2.2.2.1.2. Accidental Form: that which modifies an already existing substance (Sometimes called "second act")

2.2.2.2. Existential Act: its existence- that it is (sometimes called "entitative act")
