The 1973 Rehabilitation Act allows for extra care and provisions fro students who meet the requirements under Section 504 of the RA. The plan is a written document that outlines the type of accommodations and who will execute them so the student will have equal access to all school related programs and activities. The plan is written to suit the needs of each individual student.
