2.1.1. Unlike the soft copy data displayed on the computer screen, a print produces a hard copy which is printed on paper
2.1.1.1. the printers resolution is measured in DPI which is dots per inch - the more dots the crisper the image
2.2. Monitor
2.2.1. Soft Copy is when the data is displayed on the computer monitor
2.2.2. Resolution is the measurement of clarity of the computer's monitor - this is measured in Pixels which are small units that make up the whole of the picture

3.1. CPU
3.1.1. central processing unit which is the hard body of the computer contains motherboard, RAM, and various ports for external peripherals
3.2. USB drives are external drives used for storing data - they may be in the form of flash drives, thumb drives or even an external hard drive that can be plugged into the computer via USB port

4.1. The language that is written in order to make a computer do what is required
