Left= peripheral lesion (C5 nerve root) sensory and motor (flaccid LMN paresis) loss in the brown dermatomal/myotomal distribution pictured

Right= lesion of half of C5 SC

both signs seen- the loss described above still present (hard to discern from other losses)

C5 level down=ipisalteral loss of discriminative touch and conscious proprioception as well as ipsilateral spastic motor paresis

C7 down=contralateral loss of pain and temp sensation

will also see autonomic dysfunction
