In the manner of Bhaskar\'s ontic and epistemic fallacies, we can define a similar pairing of fallacies involving ethics (a discourse on values) and politics (a discourse on power), as follows:

Ethical fallacy: Collapsing all questions of action onto values. Questions of right action are thus wholly resolved by determining right values. Limitation: naiveté re. power relations.
Political fallacy: Collapsing all questions of action onto power. Questions of right action are thus wholly resolved by attention to equity in power relations. Limitation: Unexamined values baggage.

Both fallacies may suffer from subjectivism/objectivism of epistemic/ontic fallacies:

Subjectivism: \"My\" values vs. \"your\" values; similar fracturing of political interests
Objectivism: Universal values (even if e.g. \"diversity\"); political equity as universally attainable (e.g., \"a world at peace\")

Just as the ontic/epistemic fallacies are resolved in relational fashion by denying separation of objects from knowing subjects, ethical/political fallacies are resolved in relational fashion by denying separation of ideas (e.g., \"values\") from materiality (e.g., power relations).

Also, note that ethics/values are generally understood as individualist, whereas politics/power generally understood as collectivist...this agency/structure duality relevant here too.
