1.2. Goals of Lesson
1.2.1. The goal of this lesson is to enhance student's poetry skills by having them record themselves reading their poems and having them listen to themselves which is a beneficial way for understanding text more clear.

1.3.1.1. Introduce poems for the class
1.3.2. Acquiring
1.3.2.1. Show class my podcast I created of poems I read into a microphone with added background music and other edited effects and explain to the class that this is a good way for them to understand their poetry a lot more by listening to themselves reading their poetry.
1.3.3. Applying
1.3.3.1. We will go to computer lab where they will have access to record themselves reading their poems and have them spend time listening to their poems and completing assignment for the day.
