LEVEL is a transformative program on the campus of Villanova University that truly has changed the way people see ability. Able Flight is an opportunity to foster confidence, self reliance, independence, and the ability to be more inclusive through the art of flying. By bringing the two groups together, LEVEL can greatly benefit from seeing the mission, goals, and successes of ABLE FLIGHT and in return ABLE FLIGHT can interact with a community of both students with disabilities and their able bodied peers from Villanova who are the future network of people that memebers of ABLE FLIGHT will look to for guidance,

support, friendship, employment, etc.

What would we like to do:

Bring students from Villanova University to Purdue

University to be exposed to the Able Flight Program.

10 to 12 students. Mix of both students

registered with the ODS and able bodied members of LEVEL.

Have students from LEVEL meet instructors, pilots, and

past members (if able) of the AF Program.

Students have the ability to be passengers in the

planes that are flown by members of PU and the AF program.

Have a conference of LEVEL students, PU personnel

involved in AF, and PU students and members of the DRC.
Disability Student Services Representatives.
