The organization I work in is Native Instruments, a mid-size, privately-held manufacturer of music technology products. The company is a market leader in several key areas, and has reached its strong position through a mix of technological innovation and smart use of existing technologies. The portfolio includes both software-only products and integrated software-hardware systems.

Like many companies that have experienced significant growth, Native Instruments has gone through a number of re-organizing stages. In its current stage, Native Instruments is running a scrum-adapted, lean-influenced form of organization in its product creation areas. The company is currently in the transition to a full-scale Enterprise Agile approach that involves all remaining operational functions not directly connected to product creation.
