2.1. Why is clean water and sanitation hard to come by in some countries?
2.1.1. Because some are poor some live in dry countries i.e africa deserts
2.2. What can we do?
2.2.1. We can donate money to causes helping or thin of something yourself
2.3. Why do so many people still lack access to a toilet?
2.3.1. Because people don't see this as a real problem

3.2. Statistics can look stark. 1 in 3 people on the planet don't have a decent toilet. 1 in 9 don't have clean water close to home.
3.3. ⅓ of all schools lack access to basic water and sanitation
3.4. Females have spent 200 million hours which is 8.3 million days, or over 22,800 years,getting water it is as if a women went to get water in the age of the dinosaur and came back in 2016
3.5. CHILDREN
3.6. 1000 children died per day from diarrhoeal diseases due to poor sanitation in 2013. These deaths are preventable.
3.7. EDUCATION/GIRLS
3.8. Clean and safe toilets help keep more girls in school and increase attendance rates. Far too many girls miss out on education just because of the lack of a clean and safe toilet.
3.9. OPEN DEFECATION
3.10. The 2015 goal to halve the proportion of people living without sanitation is running 150 years behind schedule. 1 billion (15 % of the world population) still practice open defecation.
3.11. INVESTMENT
3.12. Every $1 spent on water and sanitation generates a $4.3 return in the form of reduced health care costs.
