1. Optic Nerve- the nerve that carries neural impulses from the eye to the brain
1.1. Blind Spot- the point where the optic nerve leaves the eye, making a blind spot becasue no receptor cells are located there
2. Eye structure
2.1. Cornea- the transparent front part of the eye that covers the iris, pupil and the rest of the eye.
2.1.1. Pupil- the adjustable opening in the center of the eye through which light light enters
2.1.1.1. lens- the transparent structure behind the pupil that changes shape to help FOCOUS images on the retina
2.1.1.1.1. Retina- light sebsutuve inner surface of the eye, containing rods and cones
2.1.2. Iris- a ring of muscle tissue that forms the colored portion of the eye around the pupil and controls the size of the pupil opening
