1.1. Regulation 15 : Facilities
1.1.1. An employer provide safety and health officer employed by him adequate facilities, training equipment, appropriate information to enable conduct his duties.
1.2. Regulation 16 : Continuous Education programme
1.2.1. employer shall permit officer to attend any continuous education programme to enhance knowledge

1.3.1. employer direct to supervisor who assist safety and health officer in any investigation of accident,near miss accident,dangerous occurence,occupational disease / poisoning

2.1. Regulation 18 : Duties of Safety and Health Officer
2.1.1. to advise employer/any person in charge at workplace
2.1.2. to inspect workplace any machinery ,plant, equipment, substance, appliances/process
2.1.3. to investigate accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurence, occupational disease/poisoning happen at workplace
2.1.4. to assist employer/safety and health committee
2.1.5. to become secretary to safety and health committee
2.1.6. to assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of workplace
2.1.7. to collect, analyse and maintain statistic of any accident, dangerous occurance
2.1.8. to assist any officer in carrying made by the employer/person in charge at workplace
2.2. Regulation 19 : Safety and Health Officer to submit report
2.2.1. A safety and health officer shall, before the tenth of a preceding month, submit a report pertaining to his activities to the employer
2.2.2. report submitted under subregulation (1) shall contain, but no limited to the following particulars:
2.2.2.1. any action to be taken by the employer in order to comply with the requirements of the Act
2.2.2.2. method of establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy working condition in the place of work
2.2.2.3. the number and types of accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence,occupational poisoning or occupational disease which have occured in the place of work including the number of persons injured
2.2.2.4. any machinery, plant, equipment, appliance, substances or process or any description of manual labor used in the place of work.
2.2.2.5. any machinery, plant, equipment, appliance, or any personal protective equipment required for the purpose of minimize any such risk
2.2.2.6. recommend any alteration to be made to the structure or layout of the place of work
2.2.2.7. any work related to safety and health which has been carried out by any persons, or group of persons, engaged by the employer in order to promote safety and health in the place of work
2.2.2.8. any outstanding matter arising from the previous report specified under paragraphs (a) to (g)
2.2.2.9. any other matters related to safety and health of persons working in the place of work.
2.3. Regulation 20 : Action to be taken on report
2.3.1. An employer or any person in charge of a place of work after receiving the report under regulation 19, shall not later than two weeks after the receipt discuss the report with the safety and health officer.
2.3.2. An employer or any person in charge of the place of work shall countersign the report in order to confirm that he has received it.
2.3.3. The report shall be kept in good condition at least for a period of ten years for the purpose of inspection or investigation by the officer if necessary.
3. PART 6 : MISCELLANEOUS
3.1. Regulation 21 : Death, sickness and absence from work of a safety and health officer
3.1.1. In a case of death, sickness or absence from work of a safety and health officer, the Director General may, notwithstanding the provisions of these Regulations, authorized the employer, by certificate in writing, allow work to be carried out for a period not exceeding three calendar months without the safety and health officer.

5. PART 2 : Registration of Safety and Health Officer
5.1. Regulation 4 : Registration
5.1.1. safety and health officer must registered with Director General
5.2. Regulation 5 : Application for Registration
5.2.1. fill the Form as specified
5.2.2. submitted to Director General with document & information with fee RM100
5.3. Regulation 6 : Qualification for Registration
5.3.1. Person who
5.3.1.1. holds a diploma in OSH / equivalent approve by minister
5.3.1.2. successful complete OSH training and passed examination / experience work in OSH 3 years
5.3.1.3. working in OSH area for at least 10 years
5.3.1.4. Hold qualification / receive training
5.3.2. Notwithstanding subsection
5.3.2.1. convicted any offence under Act/any regulation made under Act
5.3.2.2. convicted any offence/sentence more 1 year imprisonment/fine more than RM2000
5.3.2.3. declare as bankrupt
5.3.3. safety and health officer conducted by NIOSH
5.4. Regulation 7 : Certificate for Registration
5.4.1. Director General who issue to an applicant who register as Safety and Health Officer has been approve, certificate of registration in prescribe form.
5.5. Regulation 8 : Compulsory attendance in any continuous programmed for renewal of registration purpose
5.5.1. a person who registered attend any continuous education program once in a year for renewal registration
5.6. Regulation 9 : Refusal to Register
5.6.1. Director Manager can refuse any applicant who register if the applicant does not meet reuirement
5.7. Regulation 10 : Duration of Registration
5.7.1. valid for three years from the registration date, unless it cancel earlier under this regulation
5.8. Regulation 11 : Renewal of Registration
5.8.1. made in prescribed Form in Schedule II with RM50.
5.9. Regulation 12 : Director general may refuse to renew generation
5.9.1. Ceased to become safety and health officer
5.9.2. not been appointed as safety and health officer under Act since registration/renewal
5.9.3. not meet any requirement stipulated under regulations
5.9.4. failed to conduct his duties
5.9.5. don't have evidence that attend any continuous programme last 3 years (reg 8)
5.10. Regulation 13 : Cancellation of Registration
5.10.1. obtained registration by misrepresentation / fraud
5.10.2. Ceased to become safety and health officer
5.10.3. convicted any offence under Act
5.10.4. not meet any requirement stipulated under regulations
