Kids Should Get Paid to do Chores

1. Reason 3- When kids would like to have more money if they are getting paid for chores, then that can have them work harder, and better.

2. Counter Argument- It is true that parents will not get paid for chores or housework for when they are older, but technically when they do work for their job, they get paid and you could call it a chore because they have tasks to do, AND work to finish for where they are working at.

3. Reason 1- Can learn responsibility for keeping track with your money.

3.1. ”An allowance is an excellent way to teach your children about money management” (Leong).

3.2. Parents giving children money can also teach them about money management, so when they are older, kids know how to manage.

4. Reason 2-If kids would like to do more chores for money, then that leaves the parents with not a lot of things to do around the house.
