There [the Lord] made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He proved them,
5.2.4. Exodus 16:3 3 And said to them, Would that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots and ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
5.2.5. Romans 4:2-3 2 For if Abraham was justified (a established as just by acquittal from guilt) by good works [that he did, then] he has grounds for boasting. 5.2.6. Exodus 19:4-6 4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagle's wings and brought you to Myself. 5 Now therefore, if you will obey My voice in truth and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all peoples; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation [consecrated, set apart to the worship of God]. These are the words you shall speak to the Israelites.

5.2.8. Exodus 19:9-13 9 And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you and believe you and remain steadfast forever. Then Moses told the words of the people to the Lord. 10 And the Lord said to Moses, Go and sanctify the people[ set them apart for God] today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes 11 And be ready by the third day, for the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai [in the cloud] in the sight of all the people. 12 And you shall set bounds for the people round about, saying, Take heed that you go not up into the mountain or touch the border of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death. 13 No hand shall touch it [or the offender], but he shall surely be stoned or shot [with arrows]; whether beast or man, he shall not live. 5.2.9. Exodus 20:3 3 You shall have no other gods before or besides Me.

5.2.13. Hebrews 10:1 1 FOR SINCE the Law has merely a rude outline (foreshadowing) of the good things to come -- instead of fully expressing those things -- it can never by offering the same sacrifices continually year after year make perfect those who approach [its altars].

6.1.9.2. Grace says, "I have taken your condemnation on the Cross. Now, YOU CAN go and sin no more."
6.2. Scripture
6.2.1. Exodus 29:38-39 38 Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually. 39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer in the evening.
6.2.2. Mark 15:25 25 And it was the third hour (about nine o'clock in the morning) when they crucified Him.

Luke 23:44-46 44 It was now about the sixth hour (midday), and darkness enveloped the whole land and earth until the ninth hour (about three o'clock in the afternoon), 45 While the sun's light faded or a was darkened; and the curtain [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was torn in two. 46 And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit! And with these words, He expired.
6.2.4. James 2:10 10 For whosoever keeps the Law [as a] whole but stumbles and offends in one [single instance] has become guilty of [breaking] all of it.
6.2.5. Matthew 5:22 22 But I say to you that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother or harbors malice (enmity of heart) against him shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court; and whoever speaks contemptuously and insultingly to his brother shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, You cursed fool! [You empty- headed idiot!] shall be liable to and unable to escape the hell (Gehenna) of fire.
6.2.6. Matthew 5:28-30 28 But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, pluck it out and throw it away. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be cast into hell (Gehenna). 30 And if your right hand serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your entire body should be cast into hell (Gehenna).
6.2.7. Romans 7:7-8 7 What then do we conclude? Is the Law identical with sin? Certainly not! Nevertheless, if it had not been for the Law, I should not have recognized sin or have known its meaning. [For instance] I would not have known about covetousness [would have had no consciousness of sin or sense of guilt] if the Law had not [repeatedly] said, You shall not covet and have an evil desire [for one thing and another]. 8 But sin, finding opportunity in the commandment [to express itself], got a hold on me and aroused and stimulated all kinds of forbidden desires (lust, covetousness). For without the Law sin is dead [the sense of it is inactive and a lifeless thing].
6.2.8. Romans 7:24 24 O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death?
6.2.9. Romans 7:25 25 O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

[I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]
8. Our Part in the New Covenant
8.1. Caveats
8.1.1. Terms and Conditions
8.1.1.1. NOT dependent on ANYTHING that I must do because He knows that I will fail. There is but ONE Paradigm/Truth/Revelation necessary
8.1.1.1.1. Hebrews 8:12
8.1.1.1.2. I believe...
8.1.1.2. God will
8.1.1.2.1. put His laws in my mine and write them on my heart
8.1.1.2.2. be my God
8.1.1.2.3. make Himself known to me
8.1.1.2.4. be merciful to my unrighteousness
8.1.1.2.5. not remember my lawless deeds and sins
8.1.2. Battlefield of the Mind
8.1.2.1. The Enemies Plot
8.1.2.1.1. if he can get you to believe the lie that you are not completely forgiven, and keep you sin conscious, he will be able to keep you defeated, condemned, fearful of God and caught in a vicious circle of failure
8.1.2.1.2. he will attempt to devalue Jesus' deity, the cross, and His power to forgive all our sins.
8.1.2.1.3. if you have no confidence that all your sins have been forgiven, then your eternal security and salvation will always hang in the balance
8.1.2.1.4. if you think that your sins were not fully dealt with on the cross, then you can never have the confidence to enjoy the Lord's presence because you can never be sure if He is on your side, or of He is waiting to punish you for your failures. You will constantly feel unworthy because of your assessment of your conduct, and you can never really have the boldness to ask God for big things, or believe that He will give you success in your life
8.1.2.1.5. if you do not believe Jesus has already forgiven all your sins, it means that when you fail, you will believe that you are not "right" with God and that fellowship with Him has been cut off. And instead of depending on His unmerited favor to overcome your failure, you will feel that you need to confess your sin, be remorseful and make amends with God before you can restore fellowship with God and depend on Him again
8.1.2.1.6. if you don't have a clear sense of your complete forgiveness, you will constantly be on an emotional seesaw, sometimes you feel confident that the Lord is with you to make you a success, but at other times, you feel like you blew it and the Lord will not help you until you confess your sin and make amends, you will be in a constant cycle of feeling insecure, where you are always hopping in and out of God's favor, all of these feelings depend on how well you think you've performed and ignore the cross of Jesus altogether.
8.1.3. The Difference Between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant
8.1.3.1. Old: God demanded righteousness from man. New: God imparts righteousness to man through the finished work of Jesus
8.1.3.2. Old: The children of Israel were blessed only if they obeyed God's commandments perfectly - inwardly and outwardly. New: Believers don't have to depend on their self-efforts to receive God's blessings, because Jesus fulfilled every one of the requirements of the law on their behalf.
8.1.3.3. Old: God will punish your sins and will punish your offspring to the third and forth generation for your sins. New: God will be no means remember your sins.
8.1.3.4. Old: The children of Israel were cursed if they did not obey God's commandments perfectly. New: Believers can enjoy God's blessings and undeserved favor because Christ became a curse for them on the cross
8.1.3.5. Old: Depending on self-efforts produces behavior modification without heart transformation. New: Beholding the loveliness of Jesus and His finished work brings about inner transformation, which produces good works that are motivated by God's love.
8.1.3.6. Old: The blood sacrifice of animals covered the sins of the children of Israel for one year, and the process had to be repeated every year. New: The blood of Jesus has removed the sins - past, present, and future - of believers, completely and perfectly, once and for all.
8.1.3.7. Old: Obeying the Law could not and did not give the children of Israel the power to stop sin in their lives. The law has no power to make anyone holy, just and good.
