1. Manage cue sheet process, from collection of preliminary cue sheets for theatrical, television and SVOD productions and acquisitions, liaising with editors and composers, setting up screenings, and making revisions to ensure accuracy and compliance, through timely submission to Performing Rights Societies and management of PRO relationships Deliver music assets and related documents to our partners, including publishing administrators and soundtrack labels Maintain music rights and contract databases Analyze contracts to determine our music rights, and advise supervisors and internal executives Phone coverage, data entry and filing, expense reports, obtain signatures and distribute agreements internally and externally, maintain schedules, and assist the department in any day to day needs
2. Create, develop, and execute brand partnerships to maximize commercial profile of projects, while generating revenue. Develop and maintain brand and agency relationships for artist partnerships. Pitch agencies, brands and media companies to develop revenue generating ideas for Columbia artists. Find new and inventive ways to promote Columbias artists. Research and evaluate client needs, industry landscape, and market trends. Identify and analyze new and innovative exposure and revenue generating opportunities for artists. Work closely with the rest of the Creative Agency team to research and secure potential brand partnership opportunities. Coordinate with Business Affairs and Finance departments on the negotiation of deal terms as well as any contractual and clearance issues related to Columbias catalog. Work closely with the Digital Marketing department on the planning and execution of online and mobile marketing plans and strategies, working to maximize the potential for licensing and branding opportunities arising from those strategies. Oversee content integration opportunities, digital, video, etc. Help with the planning and execution of artist showcases/listening parties/events for potential brand partners and other industry personnel and potential clients. Work directly with artist management to execute promotional ideas and addresses management concerns as they develop. Work directly with potential clients/partners to identify music that meets their needs. Develop pitch decks to promote our repertoire to potential partners.

Own database and all pertinent communication responsibilities for song acquisition process Coordinate and manage information flow and input from all key internal stakeholders (Content, Product, Legal, Marketing, Artist Relations) Maintain ongoing communications with music industry contacts (managers/labels) to procure new releases and catalogue songs Be up-to-speed on current and emerging music trends, label promotional priorities and key calendar events Work cross-functionally to generate and refresh all song acquisition priorities Work with legal to track and coordinate clearances Work with AR team to leverage existing Fender relationships Help maintain strong relationships within industry Represent the Fender brand appropriately when working with talent community Work with third party legal partners to track and coordinate clearances
6. You have a deep understanding of artists’ creative motivation and interests to drive innovative music and content creation projects You are well-versed in music rights management including label, publishing and various third-party interests in works You can build feasibility proposals including timelines, budgets and resources necessary leading to project execution
