1. Searching Within Sites

1.1. Enter key words in the search bar to search within a site

1.2. depending on the amount of information of the site, you may use keywords that are either narrow or wide

2.2. URL = Uniform Resource Locator

2.3. Cite = an online area with specific information

3. Advanced Search

3.1. Narrow your search using specific words

3.2. Exact Phrases are used to further narrow searches

3.3. URL is used to find the exact site

3.3.1. Make sure that your URL is correct. Copy + Paste to avoid error.

3.4. Similar pages can be found in your research to further your understanding

4. Filtering Information

4.1. Know what you are searching for

4.2. Recognized where the information was published e.g.: edu.au or org.uk etc.
