meal planning

1. nutrition: if you do not consume the right amount of nutrients and the correct nutrients you could end up not being nourished enough and at a higher risk of getting diseases like heart disease. you could also have kidney failure and many more problems. so for a good meal I would try and get the right amount of nutrients everyday
2. family or cultural traditions: depending on how your family likes to eat (example: diet or special dietary restrictions) can affect how you as a whole family eats and what you are able to eat or not. another thing is that if you have a picky parent that can end up making you picky as they probably wouldn't feed/let you try what they don't like.
3. social influences: social media today is very fake and can end up hurting your health with how much food you should eat and how much nutrition you're getting. social media today can also have you developing an eating disorder. people should just eat healthy foods and what makes them happy whenever they want
4. how will you select what products to buy: I would research the product and the brand and make sure that its 100% fresh and organic and doesn't have added steroids or anything like that.
5. special dietary restrictions: depending on what a family members diet consists of you would either have to make a separate meal for them or have your family adapt to the diet and eat the same meal with that diet in place. for me I would do the first option
6. resources: depending on how much time, money and equipment you have can determine what type of meal you make. its always good to plan your meal before you make it so you can know how much time you'll need as well as what you need.
7. stores in my area (that my family shops at) is Sobeys and Costco. these stores usually have great deals and give my family just what we need. It is also very accessible
