Ancient Civilziation

1.1. In this region it was very dry until a flood happen which helped grow more and better crops.

1.2. Scholars did not know what type of government the Indus river exactly had, but we know that they were really organized.

1.3. People found symbols on stones and pottery. They think that it might be a form of writing or records.

2. Egypt

2.1. The Nile river was really important to the Egyptians because it provided them with rich soil.

2.2. The Egyptians started off with hieroglyphics which has symbols and sounds.

2.3. The pharaohs used the system of bureaucracy to govern the people.

3. huang

3.1. China's government was ruled by dynasty's which is a type of leadership that is passed down within a family.

3.2. China is mostly deserts and rugged mountains and small parts have rivers.

3.3. The Shang dynasty developed the writing system of characters which based on picture rather than the alphabet.

4. Sumeria

4.1. Sumeria started off with pictographs and developed into a new writing system called cuneiform based on triangular shapes.

4.2. The civilization was grouped by city states that were first controlled by priests but than were controlled by military leaders who became kings.

4.3. The fertile Crescent was between the Tigris river and the Euphrates river.
