1.2.2. Casual Clerical Positions

1.2.2.1. We are inviting applications for clerical opportunities. Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the Board. SCHOOL LOCATIONS: Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Acton, Georgetown EFFECTIVE DATE: Ongoing SALARY: $17.44 per hour (as per Collective Agreement) JOB SUMMARY: To support Schools and the Catholic Education Centre Administration Office by providing clerical support for the efficient daily operation of the applicable school or department. This position provides assistance to staff and the general public as required. Successful applicants will be required to assist throughout the Halton Region. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: Excellent working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word/Windows and other appropriate software packages). Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum six (6) months clerical experience required. School Board experience is an asset. Capacity to engage members of diverse communities and skilled in a variety of consultation techniques, protocols and strategies.

1.2.3. Part Time Custodian

1.2.3.1. LOCATION: Loyola Catholic Secondary School (182,568 square feet) 1550 Nottinghill Gate, Oakville EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately RATE OF PAY: As per the Collective Agreement between the Board and CUPE Local 3166.01. ($22.69 per hour) HOURS: Monday to Friday (20 hours per week, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM) JOB SUMMARY: In addition to performing regular custodial duties, may also be required to co-ordinate and assist with all aspects of cleaning and maintenance to provide a clean and safe environment for students, staff and visitors to the school. QUALIFICATIONS: Secondary school diploma Experience with industrial and/or commercial cleaning an asset Knowledge of basic safety procedures Capacity to engage members of diverse communities and skilled in a variety of consultation techniques, protocols and strategies
