Barr admitted this in his so-called memoir: "I was asked, finally, whether I would consider appointing a Special Counsel to handle the reported investigation of Hunter Biden. To the extent there was any pending investigation, I said, I was confident that it was being handled responsibly by the department's lawyers, and I saw no reason to appoint a Special Counsel." Additionally, Barr defied the U.S. Constitution by refusing to discuss the "investigation" into Hunter Biden with then-President Donald J. Trump, even though the Constitution states (Article II, Section 3) that the President, as the Chief Executive of the nation, "shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed[.]"

Many characterizations here are wrong. Happy to discuss further if you would like." To date, neither Marco Polo or anyone else writing about this fiasco has been able to identify a single incorrect statement in the article.

Daly signed the "tolling agreements" on behalf of Goldberg on 07/13/2021 and 03/22/2022. IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley wrote down the following notes on 09/22/2022: "[] Mark Daly joined late. ... Daly led the effort to answer CA's USAO questions because they were technical tax questions. ... DOJ Tax made the decision not to charge until after the election. They said why should they shoot themselves in the foot by charging before." Daly was sued on 03/21/2024 by a Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives for defying a subpoena.

The Department responded on February 19, 2021 and March 22, 2021 with letters signed by [] Helaine Greenfeld." *Greenfeld's nomination failed in the Senate & was returned to Joe Biden on 01/03/2022.

Klapper was also listed as a "relevant custodian" for FOIA request 2022-00973, which was filed by America First Legal, seeking records pertaining to the "investigation."

"Kaei" Jiaying Li Press Assistant in OPA (Departed) DOB: 11/1997 li@democracydocket.com 248-719-9424 Li reviewed at least one press inquiry regarding a subpoena dated 05/15/2019 from the U.S. Attorney's office in Delaware to JP Morgan, which Marco Polo published; the subpoena sought all records pertaining to Hunter Biden and Joe Biden's brother, Jimmy Biden, specifically their ties to the Bank of China. The subpoena was issued during the course of the "investigation." *Li currently works at Democracy Docket, an outlet founded by leftist legal fixer Marc Elias.

More importantly, McKenzie participated in the interview of Biden family business partner Rob Walker on 11/23/2021; McKenzie's name is listed on the FBI's FD-302.

Rosemary Evelyn Paguni Chief in Tax Division (Retired) DOB: 09/07/1951 Connecticut Bar #: 372565 DC Bar Admit Date: 03/13/1980 Husband: William "Bill" Saad Aramony (Bill's father went to prison for tax evasion after stealing from the United Way charity) 8607 Woodland Heights Ct, Alexandria, VA, 22309 Paguni evidently requested an email be sent to Jessica Moran on 04/15/2019 from IRS whistleblower Joe Ziegler; the email contained a subject line of "Approx. Timeline[.]" The email consisted of eight dated entries in a rough timeline of the Hunter Biden "investigation." An attachment to the email entitled "Wells Fargo Profiles-RB and Owasco.pdf" referred to Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) which banks filed regarding felonious transactions initiated by Hunter.

Kelsey Lee Pietranton Deputy Director in OPA (Departed) DOB: 03/04/1989 Washington, DC 20037 Pietranton sent an email to her colleagues in the OPA on 04/27/2022 with a subject line of "AG on hunter biden[.]" The email contained the following message: "Can someone please pull what he [Merrick Garland] said yesterday asap." *Pietranton should have recused herself from the Hunter Biden "investigation" because she is connected to Hunter. Indeed, Pietranton is featured in emails on the Biden Laptop from January-August 2015 when Pietranton served as a Press Assistant to Joe Biden.

Kenneth "Ken" Allen Polite, Jr. Assistant AG in Criminal Division (Departed) DOB: 01/30/1976 kpolite@sidley.com DC Bar Admit Date: 01/17/2024 Delaware Bar #: 003991 Louisiana Bar Admit Date: 10/21/2010 New York Bar #: 4214854 Pennsylvania Bar #: 326446 211 E Sedgwick St Philadelphia, PA 19119 Polite, Nick McQuaid's then-boss, did not publish an opinion stating that McQuaid's participation in the Hunter Biden "investigation" "would not create an appearance of a conflict of interest likely to affect the public perception of the integrity of the investigation or prosecution." Federal regulations require Polite to have published such an opinion if, in fact, McQuaid did not recuse himself.

The following email was sent on 04/29/2019 by IRS official Matt Kutz: "Jason Poole telephoned me and advised after inter‐department discussions well above his level, it is highly likely the Robert Doe case will go to the Delaware USAO for investigation." IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley wrote down the following notes on 09/22/2022: "No deadline given to John Kane concerning DOJ Tax review of charges. Neither Jason Poole nor Stewart Goldberg have given a deadline. ... DOJ Tax made the decision not to charge until after the election. They said why should they shoot themselves in the foot by charging before." The following email was sent by IRS official Darrell Waldon, with a subject line of "Sportsman," on 09/28/2022: "I have reached out to request meetings with both Weiss and [Jason] Poole."

Tina Mary Thomas Deputy Chief of Staff in ODAG (Departed) DOB: 05/05/1987 New York Bar #: 5318464 Husband: Riley Land Roberts (former speechwriter for Obama & Eric Holder) 1241 I St NE Washington, DC 20002 Thomas received an email on 04/21/2022 containing so-called "Roundtable Materials." These "Materials" contained information about the Hunter Biden "investigation."

Carlos Felipe Uriarte Assistant AG in OLA (Departed) DOB: 12/10/1979 California Bar #: 238255 Partner: Nathan "Nate" Michael Swinton (an attorney at the DOJ & is currently the Chief Counsel in the Bureau of Industry & Security at the Department of Commerce) Washington, DC 20001 Uriarte wrote letters on behalf of the DOJ to congressional committees & members regarding the Hunter Biden "investigation." As the leader of OLA, Uriarte was perhaps the most plugged-in person from the DOJ with regard to congressional inquiries into the "investigation.

In the email, Wahdan's colleague indicated that Wahdan "handles FARA."
