2.1. A research paper is built through various resoureces, and informs the audience of a specific topic.

2.2. The students will produce a short paper by reseaching their country and collecting facts.

2.3. Being aware of the various resources that are necessary to meet the needs of a population will help students understand rhe world around them further.

4. Prerequisites

4.1. Key Vocabulary

4.1.1. Nutrition- the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth.

4.1.2. Hunger- a feeling of discomfort or weakness caused by lack of food, coupled with the desire to eat.

4.1.3. Variety- the quality or state of being different or diveerse.

4.1.4. Research- the systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and research new conclusions.

4.2. Students will complete a short research paper that will describe the country they choose, the food which that country eats, and then compare it to America. The students must complete all sections in order to receive full credits.

4.3. Contents

4.3.1. Go over the learning objective for the day, and the standards that go with it.

4.3.2. Ask the students if they can think of any animals that do not need food. Explain that we all need food, and different kinds of food,that conatain differents nutrients for our body.

4.3.3. Explain that they are going to create a class food chain by locating the animal that eats them and the animal that they eat. Once they have done this,, they should link arms wth classmates.

4.3.4. Once the class is in a large chain, break apart one of the links staring that specific animal is now extinct. Ask the students how that affects to use systems.
