4.2.1. They held supreme power but were supported by the royal family, the nobility, the warriors, the priests, and the government officials.

5.1.1. Religion based off of nature. Worshipped things such as wind and water.

5.1.2. Worshipped forces of nature originally, then later worshipped Gods in human form.

5.2.2. Zou: Believed in heavenly spirits, terrestrial forces, and human ancestors.

6.1. Sumerians

6.1.1. In ancient Mesopotamia, a land of blazing sun and very little rainfall, irrigation was vital for farming.

6.2. Shang/Zou

6.2.1. Ancient China was built along the two main rivers—first the Yellow River in the north, and later the Yangtze in the south.

7.1.1. Jobs included pottery makers, metal smiths, farmers, fishers, shepherds, weavers, leather-workers, and sailors. The wheel was invented for carts, chariots, and pottery making.

7.2.1. The economic history of China covers thousands of years and the region has undergone alternating cycles of prosperity and decline. China have been, for most of the last two millennial, the world's largest and most advanced economies.
