1. Ethics
1.1. Ethics starts with the basic assumptions all employees live according to basic moral guidelines and conduct themselves in the work environment accordingly.

2. Diversity
2.1. Diversity in the workplace strives to make people of all socio-economic backgrounds feel comfortable working within the organization.
2.1.1. It further promotes equal opportunities among all employees or prospective employees to be hired and promoted based on merit not race, gender or creed.
3. Small Business
3.1. A small business diversity program maintains non-discrimination standards and enforces penalties for non-compliance.
3.1.1. Even a small business is exposed to many different cultures, demographics and education levels and can improve future business opportunities by managing diversity in the workplace.
4. Professional Practices
4.1. This is common in professional practices such as law, medicine and psychology.
4.1.1. Even beyond professional practices, it is imperative that financial officers maintain fiduciary responsibility or that sales teams provide honest and reliable information in the sales process.
