1. Framework Considerations

1.1. VLC website needs to be appealing and easy to access it. Students need to want to click on it to discover the resources it has to offer. Icon should be prevalent.

1.2. Website needs to be user friendly AND engaging. Website needs to keep students there wanted to learn. Consideration to think about: how should information be organized by grade, subject or perhaps unit. For each major unit - provided collection of resources that would be useful.

1.3. Create links within the website to keep students on VLC website and not going out to other website. Coding needed.

2. Curriculum Considerations

2.1. Consultation with teachers will be essential in getting feedback into what should be prominent on the website.

2.2. Website should be updated to reflect current unit studies in an easy format.

2.3. Proper research techniques should also be prevalent on the website to ensure that there is consistency within the school.

3. Tools

3.1. Students should have easy access to various tools that would assist them in project completion.

3.2. External tools should be easily linked to the website.

3.3. When possible keep students on the VLC website

4. Feedback

4.1. Provided space for feedback

4.2. Two way communication from students in the form of question and answer or comment

4.2.1. Grade collaborative learning spaces where students can collectively add their ideas.

4.3. Teachers feedback or suggestions in separate more private form
