1. 8) Outro

1.1. Alright everyone, that's it for this Outlaw Rogue guide on true bearing. As always, thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.

2. 7) Hyper Aggression

2.1. Hyper Aggression 1

2.1.1. The final part of this video will focus entirely on hyper aggression. Because of how quickly you can get your cooldowns back during true bearing, you're give the option of using your defensive coolodowns, offensively. Doing this allows you to ensure that your kill attempt won't b e disrupted by most means of cc. Cloak of shadow s will prevent most magical cc, riposte will stop most melee cc, and you won't necessarily be punished for doing this because by the time you actually need either of these cooldowns to survive, they'll be ready again!

2.1.2. AAk

2.1.2.1. In this example, we're going for a kill on their rogue while we have our true bearing buff up. This means that we're free to use our defensive cooldowns in an offensive way. We use our cloak of shadows while attempting to kill the rogue, and this will guarantee that the mage can't cc us.

2.1.3. AEf

2.1.3.1. In this example, again we've got our true bearing buff up so we'll be using our defensive cooldowns to allow us to play offensive, through the enemy teams pressure. We're able to take advantage of true bearing by making an aggressive swap onto their holy paladin. Usually being on the enemy teams healer should put you at risk, but because we're able to use our defensive cooldowns and get them back so quickly afterwards, we're able to switch onto the holy paladin without much risk. We use our self heal, ripsote and cloak of shadows.   And you can see here, not too long afterwards, we've already got those defensive cooldowns back.

2.2. Hyper Aggression 2

2.2.1. Let's take a look at a more specific example of this, where we use cloak of shadows to avoid cc during our true bearing buff. Again, remember that you don't lose out on anything when you do this as long as you're using lots of finishers with your true bearing buff.

2.2.2. ADg

2.2.2.1. In this example, we use our cloak of shadows to immune the priests fear. We see the priest moving towards us while their rogue is attempting to switch onto our shaman, and predict that their priest wants to fear us. Even if we didn't manage to cloak the fear, it's fine! Our true bearing buff will quickly reset the cooldown on our cloak of shadows, so don't be afraid to play really aggressive with your cooldowns during your true bearing buff.

2.3. Hyper Aggression 3

2.3.1. As we mentioned in the previous section on using blind, you should always be on the lookout to use your cooldowns as they come off cooldown. This also applies to your defensive cooldowns, as even if you're not getting the full duration of the true bearing buff to slowly reset their cooldown, as long as your artifact is ready, all you need is just those few seconds of your artifact plus true bearing to reduce the cooldown of your abilities.

2.3.2. AEj

2.3.2.1. In this example, even though we only have around 20 seconds left on our true bearing buff, we're able to use our artifact, so we use our riposte, cloak of shadows and self heal.

2.4. Hyper Aggression 4

2.4.1. And finally, remember that you have the option of using your vanish to stun your kill target if you're about to kill them. If they trinket your stun, a vanish cheap shot can instantly win you the game. And remember that you're not really getting punished for doing so because even if you don't get the kill, your vanish will be coming off cooldown very quickly.

2.4.2. ABc

2.4.2.1. In this example, the enemy teams rogue gets feared really far away. We switch onto them with all of our cooldowns because we have our true bearing buff up. And because of the sheer amount of damage our cooldowns enable us to do, we're able to drop the rogue really low and force his trinket. By then reacting with a vanish cheap shot, we score the kill. Remember that even if this didnt work out and we didnt kill the rogue - it doesn't matter. True bearing will almost immediately reset the cooldown on all of these abilities while our artifact is up, so playing this aggressive is perfectly fine, as you're almost always going to get away with it!

3. 6) How and when to cc healers

3.1. How and when to cc healers 1

3.1.1. True bearing not only allows you to constantly swap around and stun the target that your on, but also opens up the opporunity to use your between the eyes stun to cc a healer as part of a cc chain. CC chains are by far the best way to get the most of your cc because the longer a cc chain ism the more effective that cc is that's being used. Just make sure to only really do this when you have true bearing up as it's the only way to make sure you'll still have your stun ready for your kill target whey they come off of stun dr.

3.1.2. AEh

3.1.2.1. In this example, while the warlock is on stun DR, we use our stun on the paladin once our mage no longer has any cc for him. And because of our true bearing buff, we're able to then get a stun on the warlock when he comes off of stun DR.

3.2. How and when to cc healers 2

3.2.1. And of course, you also have blind, except true bearing also reduces it's cooldown, which means you're likely to have blind come off cooldown during your true bearing buff. Always be prepared to use it as it comes off cooldown as you're generally going to outputting a ton of pressure with your true bearing buff and your offensive cooldowns. It's easy to forget about blind coming off cd during this time, so make sure you don't and ensure you utilise it well.

3.2.2. ADj

3.2.2.1. In this example, while dpsing down the priest with our true bearing buff up, our blind comes off cooldown so we make sure to run towards the resto shaman and put him into our blind.

3.2.3. AEj

3.2.3.1. And again, in this example our blind comes off cooldown while we're dpsing the warlock with our true bearing buff up. We then use our blind on the paladin while our mage gets some cross cc on the warrior.

4. 5) How to manage your stun DRs

4.1. How to manage your stun DRs 1

4.1.1. One of the most important aspects of true bearing and when you use your artifact, is how to manage your stun DRs. You need to maximise your stun drs by using between the eyes on whoever is off stun DR as soon as it comes off cooldown, while you have true bearing up. Again, remember that you're going to get your stun back within 2 finishers  which means it will easily reset pretty much straight after using it whenever you have your marked for death ready or if your artifact is up, during your true bearing buff. This means that randomly stunning whoever is off stun DR is actually not going to cost you anything, and for the most part is always going to be beneficial to your team in some regard.

4.1.2. ACg

4.1.2.1. In this example, after stunning the holy paladin, we now look to get a stun onto the hunter as he's coming off stun DR. And this all happens only a few seconds after stunning the holy paladin thanks to our true bearing buff resetting the cooldown on our stun.

4.1.3. ADi

4.1.3.1. In this example, immediately after stunning the rogue, we're able to stun the priest

4.1.4. ADm

4.1.4.1. In this example, both the rogue and shadow priest are on stun dr. This is the perfect time for us to use our stun on the shaman, which results in us forcing the priests dispersion.

4.1.5. The main take away here is that you should just be using your stun as it comes off cooldown, during your true bearing buff, on whoever is off stun DR. Generally you're main target will be stunned each time they come off stun DR, so the only decision when it comes to initially putting people into stuns till be based on if you want to be aggressive and stun a healer, or if you want to be defensive and stun the other dps. And you can then go from there and continuously stun people as they come off stun dr.

4.2. How to manage your stun DRs 2

4.2.1. Although you can just mindlessly stun whoever is off stun DR whenever your stuns cooldown is reset, you should be putting effort into making sure you're going back onto your main target and stunning them as soon as they come off of stun dr. Essentially this is just building upon that previous concept of swapping on DRs, except you're being more mindful of who you're stunning. Playing this way and getting as many full stuns as possible during your true bearing buff is what allows you to constantly build up your teams momentum. Swapping on DRs and constantly getting full stuns on different targets will stop the enemy teams damage while increasing your own damage because you'll be hitting players that can't peel you. All together this is the recipe to win more games as an outlaw rogue.

4.2.2. ACh

4.2.2.1. In this example, we're facing a KFC where the hunter is our main target. You can see that we've made swaps to stun the warrior and the paladin. And with the hunter shortly coming off stun DR, we ensure to get back onto him and stun him as soon as he comes off DR.

4.3. How to manage your stun DRs 3

4.3.1. As we mention in the previous section on maximising your damage during your between the eyes stuns, you have the option of re-stunning your kill target with a second between the eyes stun after the first one runs out. This is generally only applicable against targets that are not relentless orcs, meaning that your stun duration is not reduced against them. This can be great in specific situations, for example if you can use it to stop a healer from healing wit their aura mastery, it can be great to do.

4.3.2. AEb

4.3.2.1. In this example, we swap onto the holy paladin with a between the eyes stun. Because of our true bearing buff, we're able to reset the cooldown on our stun while the paladin is still in our first stun. We take advantage of this and re-stun him with a second DR'd between the eyes stun because he's not an orc, and he's the healer, which means that we'll be getting a lot of value out of this stun, as it will stop heals and won't be heavily reduced by the orcs racial.

5. 4) How to maximise your damage in a stun

5.1. How to maximise your damage in a stun

5.1.1. As we just mentioned in the previous section, you need to use as many finishers as possible while you're true bearing buff is up, and there's no time more important then this than when your target is stunned. If ever there was a time to use as many run throughs as possible while your target is stunned, and even re-stunning them if they're not an orc, this is it. The actual ability usage is pretty simple. After stunning your kill target, you want to use sabre slash into run through twice and then sabre slash into a dr stun, and then sabre slash into one more run through. Remember that true bearing allows you to reduce the cooldown on your abilities, which is what enables you to restun your target with your between the eyes stun.

5.1.2. AAk

5.1.2.1. In this example, we've just used our between the eyes stun on the rogue. We've got our artifact up and so we now need to make sure we're maximising our damage in this stun. We use a sabre slash, into a run through, another sabre slash, into another run through, we then use our pistol shot proc into a DR'd between the eyes stun, which is only possible because of our true bearing buff, into another sabre slash and then finally  one more run through to score the kill. This was the perfect use of our globals and allowed us to do the most damage we could possibly do while our target was stunned, and resulted in us scoring a kill.

6. 3) Setup and Explaination

6.1. Setup and Explaination 1

6.1.1. To start things off, let's talk about when you should be using roll the bones to get your true bearing buff. As we already covered in our damage and cc guide, it's important for you to always have a roll the bones buff up. However, because of how good true bearing is, you're sometimes going to want to re-roll your roll the bones buff to try and search for that true bearing buff. Now before we go over when you should be doing this, let's first touch on when you should not be doing it. Whenever your team is either really far ahead or really far behind, in terms of overall pressure, you don't want to spend time searching for your true bearing buff. Remember that every time you use roll the bones, you're using 5-6 combo points that could have been used on a run through. Over time, this damage adds up and can significantly decrease your pressure throughout a game if you're constantly missing out on those 5-6 combo point run throughs. Remember that doing a lot of damage is the key to your success in arena.

6.1.2. AAe

6.1.2.1. In this example, after using roll the bones, we don't get a favourable buff. However, because we were initially under pressure from the enemy team with our health low, and we were then able to turn that pressure around and drop their mage low, we don't want to waste time re-rolling our roll the bones, and instead decide to maintain as much pressure as possible, including a swap onto the paladin after the mage recovers.

6.2. Setup and Explaination 2

6.2.1. Now that we've covered when you shouldn't re-roll your roll the bones, let's go over when you should. Whenever your team is not under any pressure and your team also doesn't have any pressure on their team, feel free to use your roll the bones to try and search for that true bearing buff. The reward for using a run through when your team has no pressure is very low. If you ever have the opportunity during down time to re-roll your roll the bones and search for your true bearing buff, you should because this buff is basically what enables you to take control of the game.

6.2.2. AAj

6.2.2.1. In this example, you can see that both teams are not really under any pressure we everyones health bars pretty much topped. While waiting for the blessing of protection to fade from the mage, we take the time to re-roll our roll the bones, and we get our true bearing buff.

6.2.3. ACd

6.2.3.1. In this example, although our team is under pressure, there's nothing we can do at the moment to help catch up, and instead will have to rely on our team to just use their defensive cooldowns. Because of this, we have the perfect opportunity to re-roll our roll the bones while waiting for the hand of sacrifice to fade from the hunter. And in doing so, we get our true bearing buff.

6.2.4. AEg

6.2.4.1. In this example, their holy paladin has just used his divine shield. We're now in a position where the enemy team is going to start to recover and we're not going to be able to generate much pressure. This is the perfect time to re-roll our roll the bones. And again, in doing so, we're rewarded with our true bearing buff.

6.3. Setup and Explaination 3

6.3.1. Now that you know when to search for your true bearing buff, it's time to learn about how you should be using it. In order to get the most out of your true bearing, you need to make use of the synergy between true bearing and marked for death, in order to increase the number of finishers you're able to use with the true bearing buff. This concept will continue into the use of your artifact, but for now just make sure that you're using marked for death with your true bearing buff.

6.3.2. ADh

6.3.2.1. In this example, you can see that we use our marked for death with our true bearing buff before using our artifact. We use the combo points our marked for death gives us to use a run through. This puts our marked for death down to around a 40 second cooldown. We then use our artifact and use 3 sabre slashes and finishers. After having used just 3 finishers, our marked for death is now ready again. This means that once our artifact fades, we'll be able to use another marked for death with our true bearing buff, allowing us to use more finishers, and get more cooldown reduction on our other abilities.

6.4. Setup and Explaination 4

6.4.1. Once you've gotten your true bearing buff up, you're now in true bearing mode and it's time for you to take over the game. As an outlaw rogue, your first true bearing buff of every game is the trigger to use all of your offensive cooldowns and take control of the game. You want to use your marked for death, curse of the dreadblades and adrenaline rush with your true bearing buff. This is going to allow you to spam as many finishers as possible during your true bearing buff. Your artifact makes every combo point builder you use, generate max combo points, and with true bearing up, each finisher you use will reduce the cooldown on most of your cooldowns. This combo will essentially allow you to reset all of your cooldowns, so you'll want to use most of them during your onslaught with your cooldowns, as they'll get reset by just dealing damage during this time. This essentially allows you to be unpeelable, let's you constantly swap around and stun everyone, and basically is what will allow you to have the freedom to create as much pressure as possible.

6.4.2. ABc

6.4.2.1. You can that in this example, as soon as we get our true bearing buff, we switch onto the rogue and use our adrenaline rush, artifact and orc racial. This then allows us to use several sabre slashes into run throughs, and with the added help of a vanish cheap short, we score a very fast kill on this rogue.

6.4.3. AEa

6.4.3.1. In this example, we've just gotten our true bearing buff. With that trigger, we switch onto the warlock with a marked for death between the eyes stun and proceed to use our adrenaline rush, artifact and orc racial. We then chain several sabre slahes into run throughs and just do a ton of damage to the warlock.

6.5. Setup and Explaination 5

6.5.1. The final point to make before moving onto the next section, is that you have to remember to use as many finishers as possible while your true bearing buff is up. Remember that each finisher you use will reduce the cooldown on most of your abilities, so the more finishers you use, the better! Your goal with true bearing up should be to ensure you're using as many finishers as you possibly can.

6.5.2. AEf

6.5.2.1. Taking one more look at that previous clip, you can see that as soon as we use our artifact, we ensure that every other global is a combo point spender. This ensures that we get the most out of our true bearing buff while our artifact is up. Make sure you never make the mistake of using two sabre slashes in a row while your artifact is up.

7. 2) What's in this video

7.1. In this video, we're going to cover how you can setup your true bearing buff and explain how it works, how to maximise your damage in a stun, how to manage your stun drs, how and when to cc healers and hyper aggression.

8. 1) Intro

8.1. Hey what's up everyone and welcome to our ultimate Outlaw Rogue guide on true bearing,
